Advice on preparation of your Career Resume
As part of your application for Facilitator Certification you are required
to submit a Career Resume or CV. The following guidelines are designed to help
you prepare this document to ensure we gather the information we need. This
document, when completed, should be returned with the rest of your application
by email to the Certification Co-ordinator at certification@globalfn.org
Career Resume/CV Content
This document is designed to provide evidence for your assessors mainly concerning
the Core Competencies of Managing
your Learning and Managing Yourself. A standard CV or career resumes is normally
sufficient for this purpose but do check you have covered the points below.
Please provide a simple and succinct description of your:
- Education - showing any qualifications obtained and when
- Employment history
- Professional affiliations/recognition/honours
- Significant career accomplishments or milestones
- Any other relevant information you'd like to include about you and your
work that you feel would help you in providing evidence against the Facilitator
Core Competencies.
Some Guidelines in Formatting and Presentation
Remember the purpose of this document is to provide evidence to your Assessors
for comparison against the Competency
Framework. Refer to the Candidate
Guidelines.
It is not a Marketing presentation or a description of your Company or
organisation.
Please do not include photographs, graphics or any other documents supporting
your application at this stage. You may bring them to the Assessment Day if
you feel they would support your application.
Do not exceed two single-sided pages in length and ensure the document is
in one of the following document formats - if you have any problems with this
please contact the Certification
